visit shanghai

how can we get a official letter of invitation in china ? planning to visit Shanghai and Beijing for tourist--
purpose. (single entry visa)
thanks.
you do not need a letter of invitation for touring, go to the chinese Embassy website and you can download an application, ask for a tourist visa, you can renew it twice while in China if you want to stay longer, one problem you will face is that they no longer accept mailed in items, you must deliver your passport and applications in person, so, you will either need to take a trip to your nearest Embassy or Consulate or hire a visa agency to help you
