Travel from Shenzhen to Hong Kong..help pls?

I'll be travelling to Shenzhen this December on a 5days tour and I'm really looking forward to it. I was planning to spend 2 nights in Hong Kong for my tour. Could someone tell me more about the must-visit places (I can't visit all as my travel period is very short).
Also, what will the weather be like in Dec? Will it be rainy or sunny?
What are the delicacies they have in Shenzhen and Hong Kong? I saw in the movies that Hong Kong is famous for their Dim Sum and milktea. (I don't wanna eat exotic animals though). Pls help me out with some details. The Yahoo! travel page don't really answer all my questions. Thanks folks!

First, be SURE your chinese visa allows you to exit and re-enter China (I am assuming you arrive and depart from Shenzhen, but if you arrive in Shenzhen and depart from HK, no problem). I got stuck on the HK side once and it was a hassle getting a new visa to reenter.
It is not cold in December. The weather will probably be fantastic. . . maybe around 70 F. Take a sweater or a light raincoat. HK is windier (and thus cooler) than Shenzhen.
In HK definitely go up Victoria Peak. If you go out on the observation deck you may freeze your butt off, since you will be so high and the wind is so terribly strong up there. But it's not worth packing or carrying a coat just for 15 minutes.

HK has lots of great shopping, but I personally prefer to find cool stuff on sale at the mall (there are many glitzy malls). The outdoor markets (e.g. Ladies Street) I found v disappointing and a total tourist trap. (But if you like fake designer junk you may disagree.) If you want to buy "Chinese souvenir" type items I'd recommend buying those in Shenzhen. Souvenirs will be cheaper there, and they were made on the Chinese side anyway.
I visited one Shenzhen theme park and I was also disappointed by that. Don't let your guide drag you to lame overpriced tourist trap places. Dec is the off season for places like that, so many attractions within the parks are closed.
Re food: most Chinese restaurants are delicious. When you go to a fancy place you are usually paying more for your surroundings, not for the food itself. The restaurants that aren't that good are usually the western ones (ha ha!). If you want dim sum, just ask at the front desk of your hotel which place is closest. Maybe you can ask for 3-4 options, just to make sure they aren't steering you towards an overpriced tourist trap. Any restaurant that looks crowded is doing something right--don't eat at places that look deserted.
Re getting around: HK has an awesome subway and is also a fun place to just walk. I love riding on the double-decker trolleys. They move very slowly, but I think they're a fun and cheap way to see the city. As a tourist I am never in much of a hurry.
